Hi, I'm . Senior full-stack AI engineer with a linguistics background. I work on how language models read context, structure output, and where they fail.

I build full-stack products end to end. I've built design systems used by large engineering teams, and as a founding engineer I built a cross-platform mobile and web app from scratch and rebuilt the backend. On top of that I build AI systems: LLM pipelines that produce structured, grounded output you can verify.

How I work

I reach for AI only where it earns its place: the simplest approach that holds up, whether that is retrieval, structured outputs, or the right-sized model for the task. I communicate tradeoffs clearly across product, design, and engineering.

What I care about

  • Grounded AI systems: evaluation, retrieval quality, safety by design. I build AI features that cite their sources, stay within what they actually know, and degrade gracefully.
  • Judgment over process: knowing what to build, what to skip, and what to leave out. The design that solves the problem cleanly, not the one that looks most impressive.
  • Product partnership: tight loops with PMs, designers, and stakeholders so technical work serves real user outcomes, not engineering for its own sake.
  • Creativity across disciplines: connecting ideas across linguistics, engineering, and design to find non-obvious solutions.
